A New Brand Message for HB Communications
A third generation, family-owned business, HB Communications has been at the forefront of emerging audiovisual communications since movie projectors became a consumer commodity.
Our project for them included a brand refresh and redefinition that would serve them in the digital technology age. Cloud, streaming, conferencing, mobile – HB combines ideas and technology to visually connect people across the hall, around the world, and on the move.
The communications technology category is crowded and indistinguishable. Competitor sites are written almost exclusively for tech professional, and are rife with techno-jargon. Our concept for HB was to talk about technology in the service of communication, connection, and ideas. That way, the site would always be current, and HB would be positioned to market their value as planning consultants, as well as product providers.
To further position HB as a full-service resource, we renamed and branded their events division, HB Live, and included that information on the site. That way, whether people are looking for audiovisual conferencing systems or event planning and equipment rental, they would be exposed to the full scope of HB’s capabilities.
